1kg chicken (in bone)
1tbsp Ginger garlic paste
Mango puree (I have used 3mangoes to make puree)
1/4cup Coconut milk
2tbsp Chilli flakes
1tbsp Soya sauce
2 Limes
1whole garlic bulb
1tsp Turmeric
1 tsp Black pepper
Ingredients
Marinate the chicken with lime juice extracted from 1whole lime,ginger paste, soya sauce, 2tbsp coconut milk, half of mango puree(save the remaining puree for further use) black pepper powder ,turmeric and salt as per taste (marinate for 2hours )
As shown in video below poke the chicken with fork to let the marination get into chicken
Heat oil in a non stick pan and fry the chicken until nicely done, do not let it burn
Keep the fried chicken aside
Also save the remaining marination masala for further use
In another pan heat some oil add garlic chilli flakes,little bit of turmeric,and fry well
Next add in remaining mango puree followed by coconut milk and remaining marination masala and mix well
Check the taste here if too sweet add in some more chilli flakes if u wish to.
At this point it will start getting nice and saucy add little bit of water and let it cook on medium flame
Once it starts to bubble add in salt as per your taste followed by lime juice as per taste
Once the sauce is nice and creamy add in the fried chicken and coat well as shown in next video
Cook on low flame for 10/15min do not let the sauce dry up add in water if require finally garnish with some leftover mango puree , coconut milk n chilli flakes
Serve hot with plain jeera rice or just enjoy as an appetizer
